Helias had already won ten in a row and they went ahead and made it 11 on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Hermann Bearcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Crusaders also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Helias was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 24-26, 25-18.

Leading Helias to victory were Sophie Verslues and Liza Boyer. Verslues had 18 digs and three assists, while Boyer had six digs and four assists. That's the most assists Verslues has posted since back in September.

Helias was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Despite the defeat, Hermann had strong showings from Kealie Lane, who had 25 digs and two assists, and Brynlee Ash, who had 11 digs and two aces. Lane is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Helias' record now sits at 28-1-1. As for Hermann, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-12-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Helias will welcome Jefferson City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hermann, they will host Union at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
