Interlachen proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Peniel Baptist Academy Warriors 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Warriors on Tuesday, they had to take a 3-0 loss.

Interlachen wouldn't go down easily and took Peniel Baptist Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-19, 21-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Kyrsten Lugar paced Interlachen's offense, picking up nine kills. Lugar got some help from Harmonie Strauser and her 15 assists. Lugar was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Interlachen's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, they moved to 6-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Interlachen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Crescent City on the 6th. As for Peniel Baptist Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Redeemer Christian on the 4th.
