Volleyball Recap: Paige Schlagenhaft Key Part of Team Effort in Tigers Win

Marshfield picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the Kingsford Flivvers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

Marshfield's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Paige Schlagenhaft, who had 12 assists and two aces. That's the most aces Schlagenhaft has posted over her last four contests.

The win got Marshfield back to even at 5-5. As for Kingsford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-3.

Marshfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Aquinas on the 30th. As for Kingsford, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Escanaba at 6:00 p.m. on the 9th.
