Diman RVT lost to Upper Cape Cod RVT back in March, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Bengals skirted past the Rams 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Bengals as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Owen DoRego spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Karter Perreira, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Leach, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Diman RVT's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, their record now sits at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Diman RVT will head out to challenge Old Colony RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they will venture away from home to take on Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
