For the third straight week, the nation's No. 1 team made it look easy.

Star junior quarterback J.T. Daniels threw five touchdown passes as top-ranked Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) dominated St. Mary's (Stockton) 52-14 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara.

The Monarchs (5-0) found the end zone three times in the game's first 10 minutes to sprint to a 21-0 advantage against the previously-unbeaten Rams.

Daniels helped expand the lead with a pair of touchdown passes to Nikko Remigio. The 6-foot-2 signal caller has thrown for 16 touchdowns and just one interception in five outings this season.

Mater Dei has outscored its last three opponents 118-14 in the first half.

After a bye next week, the Monarchs begin Trinity League play Oct. 6 against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita).
