Basketball Recap: Geronimo Find Success

After only 22 points in their last contest, Geronimo made sure to put some points up on the board against Cement on Monday. The Geronimo Blue Jays pulled ahead with a 63-62 photo finish over the Cement Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blue Jays also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Geronimo's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Cement, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Geronimo will take on Walters in a holiday battle at at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cement, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Chattanooga at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chattanooga knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Cement likes a good challenge.
