Basketball Recap: Andover Takes a Loss

Andover has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 26.93 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They lost 56-30 to the Arkport Central Bluejays. The Panthers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Andover's loss dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Arkport Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Andover won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jasper-Troupsburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arkport Central, they will challenge Letchworth at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Letchworth sitting on four straight wins and Arkport Central on six.
