Basketball Recap: South Lenoir Takes a Loss

South Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 72-49 to the James Kenan Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 69-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for James Kenan, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

South Lenoir wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 60-40 defeat against Southwest Onslow on the 9th. As for James Kenan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-44 loss against Kinston on the 9th.
