Volleyball Recap: Jackson Heights Takes a Loss

Jackson Heights and Kansas City Christian School squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Jackson Heights had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. The Cobras just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Chesnea Cochren paced Jackson Heights' offense, picking up seven kills. Cochren got some help from Madi Bacon and her 15 assists.

Jackson Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 16-22. As for Kansas City Christian School, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-13-1 record this season.

Jackson Heights wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Marys on the 20th. Kansas City Christian School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
