Soccer Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

After flying high against Payson last Tuesday, Mountain View came back down to earth. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lions who were credited with the win on Tuesday. The Payson Lions got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Mountain View Bruins' four. Mountain View were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Payson earlier this season, when they won 5-0.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Payson, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 4-8 record.

Mountain View has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Uintah on the 2nd. As for Payson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Provo on the 2nd.
