California City and Mammoth are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2022, but likely not for long. The Ravens will face off against the Huskies at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (California City has three straight victories, Mammoth has six straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
California City is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They never let Desert get on the board and left with a 20-0 win on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Mammoth's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Friday. California City has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Mammoth, though, as they've been averaging only 3.4 strikeouts. Will California City keep running through batters, or will the Huskies buck the trend?
California City came out on top in a nail-biter against Mammoth in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-0. Do the Ravens have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
