Doniphan West won the last time they faced Troy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trojans. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Doniphan West easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15.

Doniphan West's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Troy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-10.

Doniphan West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Jefferson County North on the 20th. As for Troy, they will welcome Jackson Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
