Basketball Recap: Halls Falls to Tipton-Rosemark Academy in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Halls unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 61-53 to the Tipton-Rosemark Academy Rebels on Tuesday. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 61-50 to the Rebels when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roman Taylor had an outrageously good game for Tipton-Rosemark Academy as he shot 44% from the field on his way to 21 points along with six steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Kingston Words, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Looking ahead, Halls will head out on the road to square off against Brighton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tipton-Rosemark Academy, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Rossville Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
