Litchfield extended their losing streak to four on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 9-16 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Father McGivney Catholic Griffins. The Purple Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Griffins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.
