Lucy Burroughs put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in February on Thursday. She struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Burroughs and Willow Canyon will take on Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Burroughs duked it out with the Lions (back in April of 2025), the Wildcats came out on top by a score of 23-2. Will another strong game from Burroughs be enough to do it again? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
