Soccer Game Preview: Liberty vs. Palmdale

The Liberty Patriots and the Palmdale Falcons will round out the year against one another at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Liberty's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Liberty is headed into the contest having not lost since the 1st and will look to keep things rolling. Neither they nor Ridgeview could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. That draw made it three straight for Liberty.

Meanwhile, Palmdale came up short against Birmingham on Monday and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, Palmdale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Birmingham are ranked 41st).

Liberty's draw makes their record 3-1-3 this season. As for Palmdale, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2-2.
