Soccer Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran entered their matchup against Oakland Christian on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Warriors came up short against the Lancers, falling 5-0. The game was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Lutheran it sure didn't stay that way.

This is the second loss in a row for Lutheran and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for Oakland Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2-1.

Looking ahead, Lutheran will head out to take on Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakland Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Plymouth Christian Academy on the 25th.
