Softball Recap: Seneca Takes a Loss

Seneca lost against Cherry Hill West back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Eagles fell 6-2 to the Lions. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Heller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That double marked the first that she has hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cianna Anttell, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Seneca's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Cherry Hill West, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-5.

Coming up, Seneca will venture away from home to take on Cherokee at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cherry Hill West, they will welcome Winslow Township at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
