Batavia's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Canandaigua Academy Braves 14-1. The Blue Devils' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

With the win, Batavia broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-9. As for Canandaigua Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Batavia will head out on the road to challenge Honeoye at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Blue Devils are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Canandaigua Academy, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Bloomfield at 10:00 a.m. The Bombers' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Braves' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
