Soccer Recap: New Ulm Comes Up Short

New Ulm lost against Mankato East back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Sunday. The Eagles took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Jackson Ocampo wasn't going to let Mankato East walk away unscathed as he scored both of New Ulm's goals, bringing his season total up to 21 goals.

New Ulm's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1-1 and their overall record down to 12-2-2. As for Mankato East, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3-4.

New Ulm does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mankato East, they have already played their next matchup, a 5-1 win against Owatonna on the 30th.
