The Jupiter Warriors will face off against the American Heritage Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Jupiter comes in on five and American Heritage on seven.
Jupiter lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Boca Raton, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. Jupiter was the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over Boca Raton on Thursday. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by eight runs or more this season.
Michael Czarnecki looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, Gabe Graulau was a standout: he scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Edie Otero was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, American Heritage sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Varela on Thursday.
American Heritage also got a great performance from Mark Aleman as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk). Those hits marked the first that Aleman allowed this season.
At the plate, Chris Levy was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two doubles, and two RBI. Those doubles were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Rich, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
American Heritage pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Jupiter, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Jupiter hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like American Heritage struggles in that department as they've been averaging 1.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Jupiter might still be hurting after the 8-2 loss they got from American Heritage in their previous meeting back in April of 2019. Can Jupiter avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
