Carmel extended their winning streak to five on Saturday, bumping them up to 5-1. They were the clear victors by a 61-37 margin over the Carroll Chargers. That looming 61-37 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Greyhounds yet this season.

As for Carroll, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4. The game marked their lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Several Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily George, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 15 points and eight boards. That was a full 40.5% of Carroll's points, marking the fifth time in a row George has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Megan Lanning, who scored ten points.

Looking ahead, Carmel will challenge Noblesville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greyhounds will be up against the Millers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 57 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carroll, they will take on East Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
