Templeton and Nipomo are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Eagles will square off against the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Templeton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Nipomo likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Templeton was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 66-60 to Garces Memorial. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Nipomo had to suffer through a 71-22 loss at the hands of San Luis Obispo. The Titans have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Templeton fell to 4-1. As for Nipomo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Templeton was able to grind out a solid victory over Nipomo in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 67-59. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
