Columbia Academy took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They breezed by Ben's Ford Christian to the tune of 80-35. The match marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season so far.

Meanwhile, Woodlawn Prep entered their tilt with Ben's Ford Christian on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Eagles as they made off with a 55-34 victory. The Wolfpack have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 21 points or more this season.

Woodlawn Prep's win came from a few key players Columbia Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Cole Sinclair, who went 10 of 16 on his way to 22 points. The contest was his 19th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braylon Reed, who posted eight points along with seven assists and seven steals.

Woodlawn Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in three consecutive matches.

Columbia Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Woodlawn Prep, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.
