Basketball Game Preview: Harrison Goblins vs. Clinton Yellowjackets

The Harrison Goblins will head out on the road to square off against the Clinton Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Harrison picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 68-38 victory over Fountain Lake. The Goblins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Clinton against Pulaski County HomeSchool on Tuesday as the squad secured a 67-32 win. The Yellowjackets are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the fourth game they've won by 20+ points this season.

Harrison's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points over those games. As for Clinton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Harrison came up short against Clinton in their previous meeting back in November, falling 54-42. Can the Goblins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
