Adding to the longest winning streak in Heart of the Plains (8 Man) this week, South Barber beat Cunningham 56-6. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Chieftains.
South Barber took down the Wildcats 56-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Peyton Yandel threw for 39 yards and 1 touchdown, ran for 90 yards and caught 1 pass for 12 yards during the win.
Stafford's dynamic duo of Derek McClure and Chad Hildebrand proved to be unstoppable against Sunrise Christian Academy, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McClure threw for 112 yards and 1 touchdown and Hildebrand had 67 yards receiving. Austin Ceniti helped Stafford's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 35 yards.
Dustin Weber was a force in the backfield as Skyline topped Kinsley.
Weber was a passing and rushing force as the Thunderbirds topped the Coyotes.
Norwich's Jacob Norris and Lucas Lohrman have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Norris has thrown for 1,245 yards this season, while Lohrman has 47 catches for 845 yards. Weber from Skyline leads the league in rushing with 1,412 yards.
Jon Novotny's team and Kinsley played the most contested game in the league this week, with Jon Novotny's team eventually emerging with a 48-42 victory. Weber ran for 311 yards in the win.
