Baseball Recap: Centreville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Centreville owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They came out on top against the Chantilly Chargers by a score of 3-0. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Not much got past Michael Gambone, who gave up just four hits and racked up 15 Ks to keep Chantilly off the board. Gambone also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Centreville is 5-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-8 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Caysen Chadha was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Centreville's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Chantilly, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9-1.

As of now, neither Centreville nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
