Basketball Game Preview: Hondo Valley Eagles vs. Alamo Navajo Cougars

Hondo Valley is 0-10 against Alamo Navajo since December of 2018 but things could change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Hondo Valley Eagles will get right back to it and host the Alamo Navajo Cougars at 2:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Hondo Valley came up short against Mountainair and fell 46-35.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 68-30, which was the final score in Alamo Navajo's tilt against Reserve on Friday. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alamo Navajo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Hondo Valley, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.
