Soccer Recap: Jonesport-Beals Takes a Loss

Jonesport-Beals was the 3-1 winner over Machias when they last played one another on September 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Royals fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Jonesport-Beals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jonesport-Beals' loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for Machias, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.

Coincidentally, Jonesport-Beals and Machias will both be playing Narraguagus the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Royals will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
