Softball Recap: Napoleon Takes a Loss

Perrysburg hit Napoleon with a five-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wildcats came up short against the Yellow Jackets, falling 11-5. The Wildcats have struggled against the Yellow Jackets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Addy Thompson Jr) made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Napoleon now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Perrysburg, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.
