Basketball Recap: Miyamura Snaps 22-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miyamura). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Kirtland Central Broncos 67-36. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Patriots as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Miyamura's victory ended a 22-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-17. As for Kirtland Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Miyamura will face off against Bloomfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Miyamura surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kirtland Central, they will be playing at home against Aztec at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
