It was a good run, but Ash Grove unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the New Covenant Academy Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Pirates have suffered since October 23, 2024.

Ash Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-1. As for New Covenant Academy, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1-2.

Coincidentally, Ash Grove and New Covenant Academy will both be playing Fair Grove the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
