Soccer Recap: Colorado Academy Find Success

It's playoff time, and Colorado Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Mustangs who were credited with the victory on Tuesday. The Colorado Academy Mustangs got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Roaring Fork Rams's four. Colorado Academy's winning goal came courtesy of Lockhart Thornton.

Colorado Academy is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those ten matches. As for Roaring Fork, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-5-2 record.
