It was a proper cat-fight when Howells-Dodge faced off against Cedar Bluffs on Thursday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Howells-Dodge easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-8.

McKenzie Sindelar was the offensive standout of the match as she had nine digs and one assist. Ava Koliha also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.

Howells-Dodge has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Cedar Bluffs, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Howells-Dodge has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Lyons-Decatur Northeast on the 30th. As for Cedar Bluffs, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Douglas County West on the 27th.
