Baseball Recap: Oak Hill Takes a Loss

Oak Hill fell victim to Maranacook and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Black Bears, falling 9-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 8-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.

Oak Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kieran Stanley, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Oak Hill and nudges their season record down to 3-4. As for Maranacook, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oak Hill will square off against Boothbay at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Maranacook, they will face off against Lisbon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
