Basketball Game Preview: Kennedy Titans vs. Irvington Vikings

The Kennedy Titans will square off against the Irvington Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Kennedy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Mission San Jose just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 72-65 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Irvington can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They strolled past American with points to spare, taking the game 71-57.

Irvington's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14. As for Kennedy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Kennedy beat Irvington 60-51 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
