Basketball Recap: Florida Coastal Prep Comes Up Short

Florida Coastal Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the IMG Academy Blue Ascenders.

Florida Coastal Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for IMG Academy Blue, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-8.

Florida Coastal Prep has already played their next contest, a 57-39 victory against Potter's House Christian Blue on the 26th. As for IMG Academy Blue, they will face off against Montverde Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. IMG Academy Blue knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Montverde Academy likes a good challenge.
