Softball Recap: Ogden Comes Up Short

Ogden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Green Canyon Wolves.

Ogden saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madi Arney, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Ogden's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Green Canyon, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.

Coming up, Ogden will welcome South Summit at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
