Soccer Game Preview: Greater Cabarrus S vs. Kingdom Leadership Academy

The Greater Cabarrus S Stallions will face off against the Kingdom Leadership Academy Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greater Cabarrus S will be strutting in after a victory while Kingdom Leadership Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Greater Cabarrus S' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Queen's Grant.

Meanwhile, Kingdom Leadership Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Arborbrook Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Kingdom Leadership Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 500th in South Carolina, while Arborbrook Christian Academy are ranked 184th in North Carolina).

Kingdom Leadership Academy was without their leading scorer, Madison Balarie, in Friday's game. With Balarie sitting this one out, Ella Reed got some extra time on the pitch (78 vs. her season average of 54.5).

Greater Cabarrus S' win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Kingdom Leadership Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
