It was a good run, but Brush unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lakeside Dragons by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Arcs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2022.

While Brush ultimately came up short, they really made Lakeside work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 29-27, 23-25, 23-25, 15-8.

Brush's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lakeside, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Brush will take on Bedford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lakeside, they will welcome Pymatuning Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
