Valley View is 7-2 against Scranton since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will host the Knights at 6:00 p.m. Valley View's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Valley View hadn't beaten Delaware Valley on the road since September 8, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Tuesday. The Cougars sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Warriors.

Luke Stevens and Ethan Namlick scored both of Valley View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Abington Heights, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Scranton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 446th, while Abington Heights are ranked 15th).

Valley View's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Scranton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything went Valley View's way against Scranton when the teams last played on September 2nd, as Valley View made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
