Atlantic Christian came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Morningside Academy Eagles (Eddy) with a sharp 3-0 win. The Sharks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Atlantic Christian never let Morningside Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 25-13.

Atlantic Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Madelyn Gonzalez, who had 15 digs and two aces.

Atlantic Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Morningside Academy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Coming up, Atlantic Christian will be taking part in a tournament against Martin County at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morningside Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Pine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
