Baseball Recap: White Plains Christian Patriots vs. Millennium Lions
White Plains Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 18-6 to the Millennium Lions. White Plains Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Millennium apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April.
For Millennium's part, Shaylee Jarrell and Aryan Hira did most of the damage at the plate: Jarrell scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Hira scored two runs and stole four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Shipley, who scored two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
White Plains Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Millennium, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.
