Volleyball Recap: Oxford Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Oxford Prep lost against Falls Lake back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Griffins came up short against the Firebirds, falling 3-0. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-10, 25-7.

Among those leading the charge was Tess DeZurik, who had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Oxford Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Falls Lake, they pushed their record up to 21-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oxford Prep is set to challenge their familiar foe Discovery Charter School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Falls Lake will square off against rival Vance Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
