Football Game Preview: Linden Tigers vs. Woodbridge Barrons + How To Watch

The Linden Tigers will square off against the Woodbridge Barrons on Friday. Linden will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each match than the last.

Linden took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Watchung Hills Regional by a score of 28-21. The Tigers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Woodbridge strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 34-21 win over Colonia.

Linden better keep an eye on Joshua Allen. He was instrumental in Woodbridge's win, rushing for 253 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Allen's longest rush was for an incredible 89 yards. Dylan Stephen was another key player, rushing for 29 yards and two touchdowns.

Woodbridge was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 324 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 238 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Linden's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Woodbridge, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Linden took a serious blow against Woodbridge when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 42-14. Thankfully for the Tigers, Jahmir Beal (who rushed for 63 yards and a pair of scores on only six carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
