Las Cruces faced Centennial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldawgs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hawks. The Bulldawgs haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Las Cruces walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Addison Massey paced Las Cruces' offense, picking up 31 kills. Massey got some help from Sydney Pipkin and her 37 assists. Massey was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Las Cruces' win bumped their record up to 23-0. As for Centennial, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-10.

Las Cruces didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Rio Rancho on the 13th. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Santa Fe on the 13th.
