Football Recap: Hillsboro Eagles vs. Glen Rose Tigers

After flying high against Venus last Friday, Hillsboro came back down to earth. The Eagles were dealt a 56-14 loss at the hands of the Glen Rose Tigers on Friday. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-6.

Although Hillsboro took the loss, they still got scores from Braylen Benson and Kaden Grim.

Even if they lost, Hillsboro's defensive line still kept up the pressure with five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Javien Blue and Trevor Clark, who racked up four sacks between them. Clark also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with ten.
