Baseball Recap: Avalon Black Knights vs. Bullis Bulldogs
It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Avalon ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Bullis Bulldogs 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Black Knights as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Caden Brayman spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 13 Ks.
On the hitting side, Guarion Rodriguez was excellent, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3. That run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Quincy Burns, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.
