Soccer Game Preview: Our Lady of Tepeyac vs. Westmont

The Our Lady of Tepeyac Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Westmont Sentinels at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Our Lady of Tepeyac took a loss when they played away from home on Wednesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Farragut. Our Lady of Tepeyac haven't had any issues with Farragut recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Westmont's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand Illinois Math & Science Academy a 1-0 shutout. Westmont's winning goal came courtesy of Carlee Englebretsen.

The win got Our Lady of Tepeyac back to even at 4-4. As for Westmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3-2 record this season.
