Volleyball Game Preview: Stevens Point Panthers vs. D.C. Everest Evergreens + How To Watch

The Stevens Point Panthers will square off against the D.C. Everest Evergreens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Stevens Point's tournament run continued when they took on Luxemburg-Casco on Saturday. The Panthers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1.

D.C. Everest won the last time they faced Wausau East and Lilly Peterson did her part to make sure it happened again. The Evergreens came out on top against the Lumberjacks by a score of 3-1 on Thursday with plenty of help from Peterson, who had 37 digs and three assists. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.6 digs per game.

While D.C. Everest might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Wausau East scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 25-22.

D.C. Everest's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Stevens Point, their loss dropped their record down to 23-7.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's match: Stevens Point has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.5 aces per game. However, it's not like D.C. Everest struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.4 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
